In general how much gap should be there between two IETLS tests? Does it affects evaluation too? Like BC IDP will know this person is desp to clear, mint more money!

While we foresee a draw on Wednesday, let us all also keep an eye on the UI or any change in the login process or anything different.

Guys,
Usually what is the duration of actual system maintenance message?
Once in 1 month or in 2 or 3 months?

Let’s say they usually do the maintenance once in 2 months, then they have already done it on 5 th June and this time on 19th June chances of draw are higher

Three things.
1. You are not legally married, so to say that you both are married to each other, would be complete lying leading to straightaway getting banned for misrepresentation. (Though you can show that you guys are living together as a couple i.e a common law union, but that 'd need documentary evidence).

2. 453 is a good score. It would surely be up for grab before the year ends, probably in the beginning of the last quarter of the year. So, if you can wait, you should (since you guys are very young, waiting shouldn't be a concern for you).

3. Life as a student is harder and costlier. You 'd become more of a burden on her in case you chose to join her later on a student visa. Not recommended.

Besides, you ll be getting a student visa just in order to facilitate a pathway to permanent residency (which is guaranteed to take a minimum of 2 years).

Now why do that, when you can achieve that already, either with her help or on your own!

Solution(s) - Either get married and then later be sponsored by her, or apply on your own.

Or maybe let her try to increase the scores first so that if you accompany her, the points won't be lowered much.

Also, you can explore open work permit options (I have heard that there is a spousal work permit option too, not sure though).

P.S - Those are just my opinions. If you still want a student visa for some reason, don't be dissuaded from what I said. It's your life, not mine. :)
Right now we are at point where we can't increase score anymore because she has just 2 year experience and she got highest in IELTS.To increase score we require atleast 3 year experience.
There is no any issue to join her as a student. But my question is that if she apply as a married and after some time can I join her on a student visa with married couple tag?

Anyone can suggest for following case:
I'm 24 years old.My fiancee and I am trying to get PR.She alone has 453 score. Is it possible for me that she choose married with spouse not coming together and I go with student visa after she gets PR?
Well explained by @Not_Your_Donkey_Kong
Yes, you guys can't be classified under the married status.

I have two suggestions for you:

1. Open work permit stream -

In which one person will enroll for a study program and his/her spouse will be given a full time work permit to support the two of them financially. The main merit of this stream is spouse can work wherever he/she wants without any time restrictions and thus, can accumulate plenty of funds. However, this way your PR will be delayed by 2-3 years which is the biggest demerit of selecting this option.

2. Stay patiently in the pool and wait for your turn.
450+ applicants are on the safer side and will precisely sail through the pool this year. Once your fiancee gets the ITA and submits the corresponding documents ( probably during or after August ), she will be assigned an AOR-reciept.
It is when the process for the PR application will begin. What you guys can do is - "Simply get Married during that period and inform CIC with the supporting documents right after." This way your CRS won't be affected and you will be benefitted with the already received ITA. This process will cost you aa delay of only 1-3 more months i.e. 8-9 months approximately.

Hope this will be helpful for you. :)

Hi there.

Though I am married..my spouse would not be accompanying me to Canada. Instead I plan to bring my mother along with me.
Me and my mom have a joint account.

Query 1 :-
What option do I need to choose while creating my EE profile ?
I am aware of the option of spouse accompanying or not but where do I include the option of bringing in my mother ?
Unfortunately, parents are not categorised as family members for PR visa application, especially if you are married, only your spouse and/or children are counted as family members. Therefore, there is no way you can include in your EE visa application. You have apply another visa class for your parents. e.g. visitor/tourist visa.

Next probable Skilled Trade draw will be in October month since there’re 5 Wednesdays coming in Oct and the same way, CIC conducted this type of draw last year too.

Before that, you’ve really bright chances to recieve ITA with 456 score. So, don’t worry about it!
Wat about PNP specific draw?

Means in one month, they display the maintenance:
2 times for actual maintenance only,
2 times for draw

Means 4 times a month
There is no explicit information regarding that. Some of the members in the previous ROH threads claimed that maintenance was done twice a month, while others said that it was 3-4 times a month !

You can take 2 IELTS tests in 2 days, no restriction. No one really knows what happens behind the BC/IDP doors. So key is to prepare well and attend with confidence.

No, it is not necessary. You need to mention it in the LoE though. Best to have your colleague signed the reference letter, preferably one rank senior.

No. She can't apply as married, as she is still just your fiancé and not wife. That is a straight no.

Secondly, if you want to go on student, her PR status would not be of any consideration and thus you 'd be foolish to not take advantage of that.

A sensible way 'd be to let her go first and then wait till she can sponsor you as a spouse. That 'd not only save you from the hassles that comes with a foreign student tag, but also allow her with sufficient time to settle down, thus eventually making life easier for you both.

And though I understand your predicament, I must advise you against it. What you are contemplating is nothing but rushed judgment.
Separation is hard, but the path you are so adamant on walking upon, 'd be harder.
Also, temporary separation is not something that cannot be overcome. In fact, majority of couples face this dilemma and almost all of them go by spousal sponsorship route.

Student visa makes sense only when you are the one going first as a student and she joins you later as a dependent with a work permit. But now that one of you is already on the path to permanent residency, student visa is just unnecessary and disadvantageous, since it is likely to encumber you heavily in the future (in terms of loan, higher educational costs, higher living costs and limited work hours) and serves no special utility.

Consider all that before letting impatience and feelings get the best of you.

As for a direct answer to your query,
Yes, you can get a student visa (on your own), even when the spouse is already in Canada as a PR. And yes, you can live with her.
