Congrats to everyone who got through. I'm waiting for the email now.
I predicted this tie break thing 3 days back. Its insane but logical given the high no of candidates in the pool.Tie breakers were hardly a issue in pre Jan 2019 era. But now apart from draw score they too seem to be play a major role. Candidates with score 448-450 are rising as well so i think tie break date will be much earlier one to first accomadate early candidates.
PS: I serioulsy feel for the guys who were left in the 438 draw cos of tie break.
I think you are right. I entered the pool on November 2018 but score was 420 but this year April I retook my ielts to improve my crs to 477Most probably someone who has improved his/her score after creating the profile.
It's strange that number of 451+ candidates went down significantly, yet the cut-off is early 450sNumber of candidates (451-600) went down, so the cut-off would go down to 448 in the next draw.
Date of submissionSorry guy. One more question. If ppl update their profile. Is the date of updation taken into consideration or the date of making the profile?
Exactly man , Nov tie break was unexpected unless there was significant spike in flow 451+ profiles and they invited only < 50 450 profiles this draw Or the number of profiles in 450 are significantly higher than any other point in 441-450 poolIt's strange that number of 451+ candidates went down significantly, yet the cut-off is early 450s
Time to do some math to ascertain what the hell happened
It will take another 2-3 draws to clear all 450 applications now I believe.Speed is 212 again in the fortnight from 12 April to 26 April, but looks like the speed of 451+ applications in the last five days was certainly 250+ which is extremely high, thereby not plummeted CRS significantly.
Trend of 451+ so far in the last three months....
230, 183, 211, 223, 236, 212, 250....
Next draw should take care of all 450 applications. Let's see!
