Yes, as they calculate it considering the months. It is still March now.
Thanks a lot for your help. I am jus freaking out a little bit since my post graduate work permit is expiring in mid june. At the end of April, Will I have to go into my profile and manually change the work experience or they will automatically change it to two years?

How many extra points are added for the two years work experience as compared to the one?

I've almost 18 months experience, and stated only one year.
It is boosting my points from 437 to 468 so by 31 points

I am not sure, I guess it is automatically considered based on the start date you entered.

I think the difference in points is only if person is working in Canada. In my case, points are same for one and two years experience. I have more than 2 but less than 3 years experience.

Hmm, That looks possible.

It may only be for CEC applicants

You can apply for PR whenever you want from wherever you want. It doesn't matter.

If you are applying under CEC stream, you should have 1 year of work experience in Canada in the last 3 years before you apply for PR.

I see, even my work permit expired, can I remain a country as visitor and apply PR? (My passport is visa exempt for visitor)

I know I cannot work but I already have 2 years work experience from last 3 years

How come
Yes, the 3 week gap caused the cut off to move into the 450s but the reduction in ITAs meant the cut off would stabilize (going forward) in the mid to high 440s if they continue with 3350 and bi-weekly draws.

Earlier, 3900 ITAs and bi-weekly draws were keeping the cut off in the lower 440s.

So, the only way the cut off will go below 445 is if they increase the ITAs OR if they have 1 week gap draws.

How come they have higher targets this year, but then they are going with smaller draws?

My score is 468. How much time does it usually take to receive an ITA on my pool profile
