Can anyone tell me if my calculation is incorrect:

CRS Score Range Number of Candidates
601-1200
284
451-600
1,919
401-450
30,600
441-450
868
431-440 9,105
421-430 6,447
411-420 6,794
401-410 7,386
351-400 37,780
Total
95,523

We have: 284 + 1919 + 868 = 3071 applicants. But the number of invitations sent were 3900. So where are the others 829 applicants ?
If 3900 invitations were sent out, doesnt it cover ALL applicants with CSR in range of 441-1200?

Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score distribution of candidates in the Express Entry pool as of January 3, 2019

The numbers are only until Jan 3rd. Draw was held on Jan 10th.
So there was in increase across all the score bins.

The difference that you see is because the published distribution of candidates was that of January 3rd, the draw on the other hand was based on the candidates that were in the pool on January 10th. Those 7 days explain the difference between your math and reality.

Also, the cutoff was 449. so we cannot count all 868 in 441-450 I guess.

Quick question, I have submitted my profile on the Jan 8 2019. I have score of the 452.
Would I be getting the ITA in this draw or should I wait for another draw?
The reason of asking such a question is that Tie-breaking rule: January 2, 2019 at 11:40:53 UTC

Can some one explain what is a tie breaking rule is?

Thanks in advance!
Yes, you will get ITA. Tie breaking rule impacts only applicants who are tied on the cut off score (CRS 449 in today's draw) for a particular draw.

Congrats to everyone that got in!! The best of luck to those who are still waiting!!

I have a 451 CRS Score and should be getting an ITA today or tomorrow.

I have a question regarding two deliverables for the e-APR. My common-law partner and I had our medical exams taken last month, our results were submitted to IRCC on December 19th. We also got our PPCs around the same date. We did this to have everything ready upfront because my common-law partner had to travel to her parent's city for the holidays.

Should we have an issue with this or is it OK to get the paperwork done upfront before the ITA?

I greatly appreciate the advice!!
PCCs are valid for 6 months and medicals for 1 year, so you should be good.

Your calculation is good, but the data that you used for calculation is as of Jan 3rd, 2019. So, if the draw had happened on Jan 3rd, cut off would have been below 441. Unfortunately, more applicants entered the pool in the last 7 days and caused the cut off to move to 449.
