You get 1 point each Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking for achieving CLB5 in TEF Canada or TCF Canada, 3 points each for getting CLB7 plus 30 bonus points if you get CLB7 in all four, and finally 6 points each for getting CLB9. Follow the thread below:Ok, So how's the best way to go about, scoring 10-12. That should put me over the wall.
Well, that's difficult to answer, depends really on your previous knowledge of French and similarity of your first language with French. If you have to start from scratch, I won't say it is impossible but it's the matter of time, you will of course achieve it eventually.Ok, So how's the best way to go about, scoring 10-12. That should put me over the wall.
level 5 and 6 will get you 4 pointsOk, So how's the best way to go about, scoring 10-12. That should put me over the wall.
I agree, I just gave one point. I think that current system is fair, because it considers all the factors and is appropriate mix of qualifications and age. I would certainly not be fair to people nor beneficial to them to only look at age factor without regarding knowledge a person posseses as some would like. Everybody can work at Tim Hortons or some other unskilled or seki-qualified job.In my opinion, being old we won't be contributing much to the workforce which is what express entry is for. How long we worked in the past is not important. How long can we work in the future to sustain ourselves and contribute to the economy is what makes difference. Also, the experience more that 3 years won't add much value to current working standards.
I hope the same i believe there wont be any education assesment completed during christmas break. There may some ielts score releases hopefully not so many.If the next draw will be on January 5th, score could be something like 438-439Can we expect the draw in Jan to hit 438 with WES out on holidays new entries seem practically impossible . The only change might be people improving their score either by completing their degrees or through IELTS , the results of which I doubt will be published before January So anyone who is 437 and above stands a good chance .
The last pool distribution before draw
CRS Score Range Number of Candidates
601-1200 132
451-600 282
401-450 31,898
441-450 1,544
431-440 9,499
421-430 6,435
411-420 6,922
401-410 7,498
351-400 38,166
391-400 6,997
381-390 7,993
371-380 7,961
361-370 7,738
351-360 7,477
301-350 21,946
0-300 3,300
Total 95,724
Considering 1000 people for 1 point in the range 431-440
A draw on January 2 almost certainly means a drop to
1.438 (1000 ITA's) + 2000 (People left out due to tie breaker rule ) +900 (Approx who might increase their score )
1.437 (2000 ITA's) + 1000 (People left out due to tie breaker rule ) +900 (Approx who might increase their score )
2. 436 (3000 ITA's)+900 (Approx who might increase their score)
However ,draw a week later changes everything and it again becomes unpredictable with WES and IELTS results coming out .
So everyone pray for a new year miracle once again
Myself stuck at 438 profile creation May 2018
do you have an idea about level 5 and level 6 equivalence.Mean does level 5/6 be same as beginner or intermedate level of english?level 5 and 6 will get you 4 points
level 7 - 16 points
level 8 - 20 points
level 9 - 24 points
Yes if we consider paper based tests only, the last test was on 15 December with result on 28th December. For a while, this will be the only paper based test result coming out as next test is after a 3 week gap on 5th of Jan with results on 18th, so there are good chances of the score staying low if the draw is held.I hope the same i believe there wont be any education assesment completed during christmas break. There may some ielts score releases hopefully not so many.If the next draw will be on January 5th, score could be something like 438-439
Lets pray for this
How were your and your spouse’s english test ? If you dont mind to shareHello, can anyone please advise, I have few inquiries. I am currently working full time in Canada(Ontario) on PGWP for more than a year, I have my spouse in Canada as well. I have CRS 419 if i calculate as accompanying spouse and 440 for not accompanying like if i will apply for myself and then go for spousal sponsorship is that a good idea? I am working as a user support technician(NOC 2282), have my profile in pool since September with 419(accompanying Spouse) but losing hope for ONIP HCP, Can someone please advise to choose right path?
Thanks
My IELTS score is 8,7.5,7,6 SLRWHow were your and your spouse’s english test ? If you dont mind to share
Well, If I were you, i would keep improve english test scores. It is not that difficult when we both now live in Canada and many chances to practice. I had the same score as you when I did my first test last August. I took another on Dec 1, I got my desirable score which pump my EE to 446 now.its not that good, is not worth of getting enough points to increase score if its LSRW 6,5.5 ,5.5,5.5 can only give me 5 to 6 points which i can improve by 0.5. however that was 1 year and 8 months old score
