Thanks for your wish have been preparing documents for some time, only major ones remaining are Medical test and the POF bank letter which I intend to take after end of November. And we lose 5 points on 1st December for birthday, so it is like a Hollywood thriller

I feel your pain, Im on 440 since September, l have lost all hope for this year,, lm now only following ROH so that l get up to date info while l wait to finish my Masters next month so that l increase my points

The tie breaking rule is at September 16, 2018 at 12:41:42 UTC with a score of 449
I think it indicates that there were a lot of candidates who have turned down the invitation previously being back in the pool.
The last time the draw was this high was on June 13th at 451 with a Tie breaker of July 21st 2017. This is an isolated incident, perhaps due to high number new Canadian graduates being in the pool. Hopefully it will correct itself like in June 25th which was at 442.

Just received my ITA

Well it looks like new safe zone is 450+.

Observations between this and last draw:
1. total profiles in pool is still increasing and going direction to hit 100k (maybe by the end of this year).
2. a steady high amount of non PNP profiles above 450. It seems that you can count with app. 1500 profiles wth this score each week.
3. The high score of this draw was also caused by more days between draws (17 instead of 14 days)

So yes the prediction for anybody under 450 for the end of this year is bleak. One thing that might happen is a bit higher amount of PNP profiles (some provinces like to do that - to use up rest of their quota at the end of the year and release whole bunch of nominations). It might be a little bit better next year, but then again more competition might catch up.

And of course for those under 440 points, unless you are FST forget about it or increase your score. A very simple message.

I'm the same my friend. On 441 and I lose 5 points in the middle of January so it's all or nothing for me. I have no way to increase CRS other than to learn french very quickly!

My wife gets her 3 years experience in december and we have 445 points with that. We are planning to enter the Pool in December.
Our points will go down by 5 points in March 2019 if we don't get ITA by then. So, what are the chances of getting ITA in December 2018 or Jan 2019? Please advise. how does it work with the points if her age increases after getting ITA . Is it till ITA or till what step the points shouldn't decrease.. Please help..

You have asked this elsewhere but to clarify, with 445 you should be good as the CRS threshold is expected to fall in the next couple of draws. I'm hoping for 441 by 15 January otherwise my chances are gone. 445 is a good place to be.
