Could this be the reason the cut-off is high? A bunch of people got +600 points, so they jumped ahead.

As of 27th September, only 253 profiles had 600+ scores. What are the chances that many people got their PNP nomination (not an invitation) and 600 extra points in 5 days?

This has literally ruined a lot of hope now With IELTS results coming out in 1 week CRS cut-offs will be super high next year.

I think this will have some effect next year. Computer IELTS at least in the UAE is available every day of the week with results coming within one week.

Scores are only going to get higher. With the new NAFTA, people who fail to get to USA will first come to Canada, once they have become Canadian, they are just gonna move south to US

Well I’m at 471 but I haven’t actually gotten the ITA yet cause I was updating my profile 10 hours ago (I had 0 for Canadian education and it took me a month to actually realize it).
