oh yeah you are right. I remember it happened in May 2018 as well. However, I think the pool growth has slowed down a little. Should check the rate.

Your statement is misleading. You are just looking at the pool how it was 2 days after normal draw. So no that decrease is just an illusion.

If you can score at least CLB7 in all 4 sections in TEF, then you get 12 points + 30 bonus points = 42 points. Very difficult no doubt, but not impossible if you can do sustained learning. That will take you close to 440 even after losing 5 points for age. Meanwhile, you can also try to improve IELTS score, probably you're losing 9 points there.

Won't I make it in French speaking stream even if I score less as by the time I become fluent in French I would have lost 11-16 points for age probably.

Hi all,
Need your suggestion and advice.My current score is 410 with 7788. I am aged 38 and will be turning 39 in november.Now I am left with only option that is to learn french which I feel, will take atleast 1.5-2 years with constant efforts. I want to ask how probable it is to get invited having learnt french. I will be applying for pnp Quebec or Ontario. Is there any other requirement other than french which I must know before I go for it.

I dont know if you have calculated your score with a clb 9 or not. If you can achieve a clb 9 your score will improve and trying to achieve a clb 9 is more easier than preparing for french. is your 7788 is RSLW ? Then you need to look at retaking your ielts.

At this point of time your approach should be multi pronged. Looking at retaking ielts, see if your wife can take ielts if she has not till now, your eligibility with provincial nomination process of nova scotia or saskatchewan , sending an EOI to PEI, getting lucky with Ontario PNP.

All said and done if you pursue a systematic approach you can achieve it.
