Ratings System: Looks like some people hate me from the core of their heart.

Hi,

Just amazed to look at the ratings which is there for my profile...everyday I log in and I see -1 rating added. Wow, don't worry your efforts wont stop me from helping people and neither these ratings affect me.

Was just amazed that why people hate me or my post.

Hi Adam,

We originally came to this forum for our own queries... learnt a lot in the process & thought to share some of that with newcomer members. I guess, we are 'on it' till the time we have the 'time' & also the motivation to continue. Are you suggesting that enough is enough?

There were many before us who did a yeoman service here, but eventually left too. Similarly, we might not last forever either. However, as Rocky opined, this '-ve rating' sure is a demotivator & might see us quit earlier... till then kindly bear with us.

such positive contributions, its more like the "Self Actualization" state what Dr. Maslow discussed, therefore

I do not believe in this rating which which is being done over here.I do not know what it is and why it is being done,also don't want to know it.You guys are rendering yeoman service and just keep up the good work till time/motivation permits you to do the same.Do not care about the negative comments and go by your conscience.

Really I am unable to understand the criteria behind the rating system.On the one hand some members are getting the best possible help / information(on Immigration) from expert members and on the other hand they are doing these ..........things .I think this forum owner's (Cohen) must should have to be consider on the deletion -ve voting from the profile of the all members. Any how +ve rating to Rocky from myself.

This rating stuff started by the moderators has nothing to do with the contents of the post nor their significance.
I am sure one of the reasons, as mentioned by Qorax, demotivated people like Rupeshhari, BobbyB and many others, who actually were doing a great job, to quit earlier and loose interest.

ratings doesnt matter as long as u r helping people with tcore of ur heart. Neither these ratings can lead individuals somewhere. Never ever looked at mine nd why so when u knw tht u r not here to get urself rated.

I do not understand myself why people would rate you -ve; you have been probably most upfront, and very much to the point. Some times the answers are negative, simpky because a NO is the right answer. However, Please keep up the good work and do not let nonsense people demotivate you. My positive rating to you Sir!!!


Qorax, Captain, no one would ever say Enough is Enough. it is people like you, and they are few, who keep this forum alive and support all of us emotionally and information wise. Again, when people get info for free, this is how they react. If this was through a consultant they had 4000$ for; they would have been recommending this consultant to every one and worshipping him/her I guess!
