Raised CSE 4 times

Guys, my Aor Is 01 NOV 2019 and I am a FSW outland applicant. My medicals were passed on 18 Nov and I completed my biometrics on 01 Dec. My application is being processed in London, UK.

Since submitting my application on 01 Nov, I have sent additional documents/information a total of 4 times so far, whose purpose has been either to rectify some innocent mistakes on my application or provide additional information proactively that can be relevant for the officer. In the second case, I sent it an updated employment letter (that elaborated more on my duties); "notarized" gift of deed along with evidence of fund transfer (I had submitted the simple gift deed initially) and updated bank reference letter that mentioned I had no debt.

I DONT think there's anything I can further provide. Anyhow, I last sent an email to London on 02 Jan offering the notarized gift deed, and received this response from the office today:


Thank you for the provided documents. Please be advised that this document will be added to you’re application for review by an Officer. We are unable to advise when this review will take place, as length of time can vary based on a number of factors. However, please rest assure that we will contact you should anything additional be required.

I have 2 questions. Does the response imply that my application is in the "review required" stage, and if you sincerely think I may have sabotaged my chances of getting PR earlier than usual by proactively sending information. I am yet to order GCMS notes. Thanks in advance

Also could you please let us know, did you do your biometrics on 01 Dec upfront or did they send you a request after AOR?

For the benefit of other reading, please explain the process of CSE. How are you uploading the documents upfront proactively from your end without an ADR?

Perfect, i think you received the bio metrics request way too early or on time. I dont think there is any need to panic at all. Sometimes Visa officer will get curious as to why you are ordering GCMS notes and providing upfront additional documentation.

Updating bank reference letter etc is perfectly fine and many people do it. I guess in your case, its best to wait until March 2nd week.

I think you are freaking out over nothing.

Your application is barely past the 2 months mark. If you have corrrected your mistakes then lay back and relax.

I think it just means stop and that when sending extra stuff you're delating the application since they will have to re-review those documents. What were those corrections you made? You may think they're important, but could be meaningless or irrelevant.

1st CSE (Nov 5th) - corrected innocent mistakes: forgot to mention UK visa refusal when I was a kid (14) and parents were PAs; said I left the US in June 2012 when I actually left in May 2012

2nd CSE (Nov 29) - corrected digital photo, updated bank letter (that mentioned I had no debt), mentioned I have a drinking offense from the USA (when I was 19, I got a ticket for underage drinking). This is not a criminal offense in the USA and neither is it in Canada but thought I'd still mention it to them anyways. I also sent it a legal opinion from a lawyer that said I was not inadmissible. I was concerned because I had another offense as well (UK caution for something minor from 6 years ago). But, the legal opinion was a waste of time and money. Here's why. I also applied for my visitor visa to Canada soon after applying for PR (had an interview coming up). My visitor visa was rejected because of my current situation (unemployment) within 14 days but it didn't mention I was criminally inadmissible and cleared the background check.

3rd CSE (Dec 10) - updated employment letter that elaborated more on my job duties, also mentioned my USA visa was accidentally rejected five years ago only to be approved a few hours later when the embassy called me saying there had been a mistake and I should send in my passport for approval.

4th CSE (Jan 2nd): notarized gift of deed along with evidence of transfer (had previously submitted just simple G.O.D. and mentioned it in my LOE)

I know this is too much. I'll be on the 3 month mark in 10 days. WAs wondering if I had unnecessarily ended up pushing my timeline other? My reasoning was that its better to send info proactively rather than wait for them to request things as they may only come back to you around the 5/6 month mark....

the first two are understandable but i personally think 3 and 4 are just overdoing it. I also don't know what type of impact it will have on your application as i'm not an agent

So I want to share an update with you. I am replying here as this is the only thread where I have extensively shared details on my app. I recieved 2 ghost dates on 22 Jan and 23 Jan. Nothing has been updated in my profile and nor did I recieve any email. When I logged into IRC account, I saw the status update. Could this mean a good sign for my application? Or am I reading too much into it. It could be a technical glitch because of which my application status inadvertently changed back to “application profile / updated”
I know you’re not an agent but from your post count it seems as if you’ve been on this forum long enough to decipher trends. Thanks

I think it means you're in the r10 completeness check phase, or the initial officer is reviewing your documents. You have a long time left before PR so just sit back and don't worry, they will hopefully ask you if they need anything clarified.
I would suggest applying for GCMS notes now that you have had a ghost update, and then again in another month or two

Hi - I’m curious that why do you say he / she has a long time till PPR? Of course no one can tell but this person already is at the 3 month mark now, and It seems as if most applications are processed btw 3 and 5 months.

They aren't even halfway through the timeline yet!

a lot are processed between 6-12 months too
