R10 completeness check( Express Entry) for BOWP

PR under Express entry is in process since july 2016 under CEC.

current work permit expires in Nov 216.

Bridging open work permit is good option or not? How do we confirm that R10 has been completed?

Go ahead and apply for a BOWP. Your R10 should be completed. If you application didn't pass the completeness check, they would have probably let you know by now. I got AOR in Aug and BOWP in Sep.

It's a completeness check. They basically gotta check if you've provided all necessary documents and if all that you sent them fits. If yes, then you've passed one of the many checks and you become eligible for a BOWP and your spouse (if you have one) for a SOWP. It usually takes 1-2 months for R10 to complete but can differ from case to case.
