Hi,

Can anyone please suggest? what is the regular processing time of R10 completeness check and BOWP processing time?

Application submitted on January 11, 2017. BOWP application submitted on Jan 13th

My work permit expires Feb 17th, 2017 and I haven't received any confirmation on the completeness check and again my BOWP application status depends on this. Very tensed!!!!

No need to be tensed.after your work permit expires you will be on implied status and you are able to work when BOWP is being processed,i see R10 competences and criminality is completed in 2 months,so relax and current processing for BOWP is 28 days through online but before that your both should be passed so they will put on hold your BOWP application untill both is passed.
Good luck

Thank you Rabinji :)

I applied e-APR and BOWP on 04th and 08th December 2016 respectively. My BOWP is currently "On hold" as R10 is pending. I'm on implied status since 28th Jan'17.

It has been more than 2 months now. Hope this helps.

I've been in the same situation. Got the BOWP on hold for quite a while. I applied for it on middle of November and receive the confirmation around January 20th. Two days ago I got the passport request to finalize the permanent!

@yash.sahni and @rafa2mac

Did you guys apply online or paper application?
Also do u remember what was the CIC processing time for BOWP at that time?

Just want to confirm if it was really on hold, or just pure luck/coincidence.

Thanks guys for sharing.

I applied online. The processing time at the time of application was 22 days and after about as many business days, it was put "On Hold".

hi!

I guess I applied online, I hired a lawyer to do all the job for me so I couldn't follow too much the process.

I applied for BOWP on novemebr 14th and it was 35 days waiting time that after weeks became 26 days.

Since my BOWP was on hold, their timeline wasn't respected. I got approval on January 20th

Thanks for sharing guys.

I applied by paper application, and CEC applications take long time to get R10 done, especially now with so many ITAs all over the place, so I am hoping they do the same with paper applications too, and put it on hold.

But it is funny that so many ppl on the forum said they got rejected due to R10 not passed at the time of processing BOWP.
It might be that CIC changes their policy OR it depends on VO.

So your entire process just took three months. That is awesome! Congratulations

Can you please tell me in what category did you apply and ur timeline for all the process?

Is it possible that if you apply for BOWP at the same time, your PR application will also speed up a bit?
