Well I was expecting 3 months. But it's obvious they are not processing many applications. Don't know what's going on. Looking back at this thread's history, I don't think I've seen a point where so little applications were approved (with the exception of vacation and the aug 2015-feb 2016 closure).

i am really shocked how people are reacting specially SRS category candidates
Buddies relax also think about others who applied in EDS category it will take almost 1 year but still they are so cool

Because everyone knows what they have signed up for. EDS has always been 1 year. SRS has normally been 2 months' processing time. Besides, don't you think it's a bit unfair when many of us invested insanely huge amounts of money in Canadian education (which is 3x as expensive for international students) just to get the SRS-PGWP nomination?

This is all the people working at the AINP office right now. What the hell are these people doing? I can see at least 15 'program officers' and 3 'assessment agents'. So far only 1 person has reported receiving their SRS PGWP nomination in 2018. Something is not right.

It's ok you can check on your category as well. People are wanting to know the date they are at issuing nominations. This is what this platform is for. Plus at the end of the day we are all in this hoping to get nominated and very anxious.

i know .. i just give my point of view we cannot do anything in that so it better to be patient..... i also know after ainp it took more than 18 months now but its immigration we cannot do anything in that

Hi everyone, anyone has an experience applying EDS under the hotel and lodge industry? according to the tracking no. my application was received on 10th Jan but I still haven't gotten a file number yet, i am a bit worried now cause my lmia is expiring in early apirl.
any thoughts? or how long would it take if unfortunately my application is being returned?

Just wanted to point out that 2 months of processing time has been normal only for about a year. People with PGWP used to apply CEC instead because AINP processing time was so slow. In other words, getting nomination in 2-3 months is absolutely abnormal.

I got my nomination in 3 months. Applied Feb/17 and nomination received end o Apr/17.
