Hi Superdad,
As far as I know, OINP is still processing AoR for Dec 2015. So I think you still have to wait more as they have a high volume of application.

any ideas how long it would take?

i have a question. my wife applied for study permit and applied for work permit with her as dependent .my current work permit gonna expire soon. while i m waiting for this decision can i apply for my own work permit extension ?

hi shivaR,
you can apply for your own work permit only if you have LMIA, otherwise your open work permit will be dependant on your wife's extension. your application is already in progress and you must be on implied status. in that case, you can call health services and get an extension for your health insurance for 3 months, and you are legally allowed to continue working until a final decision s made on your application.

My WP got extended as a spouse wp till 2019 april I received my new WP end of April I have not updated AINP yet I applied under EDS april 2015 my pgwp is expiring in Nov 2016 do you thing they will accept my application or my category will change ?

Hello, my friend got am email from AINP. she asked the type of establishment in which the work is performed. What does it actually means?
He works as an electronics technician (NOC 2241).

They are asking where does he perform his services as an electronic technician? At a computer store, radio station, tv store, etc, etc?
