The company I worked for ask me to help them with 2 applications for wp . I talk with a immigration officer (think this is how you call them) and he said that if you apply along with letter of support the wp will be closed. The 2 workers indeed got closed wp for 2 years.

Well, once you will get the file number from CIC (AOR/UCI) for your application for permanent residency based on your AINP certificate, you can apply for open wp...you don`t have to wait until get the permanent resident card..

Actually my wife graduated for the University with her masters degree on the 16th of Jan and started working from March using her pg wp which she received on April 12 I applied for spouse wp as she secured a noc b job I applied for spouse wp on April 25th received the new wp on Friday which is valid till 2019 she has applied under SRS she hopes to receive nomination before me as I applied beginning of 2015 under eds

Thanx for the information. But i guess your case is entirely different den mine......u should not have to worry at all.. coz u ll b having work permit till 2019.. mine is about to expire...

My AINP application was received by AINP office on August 1,2014 and I got my file number on OCT 1,2014.I applied under Employer-Driven Stream (EDS),International Graduate Category NOC C(1525) as dispatcher.My PGWP is expiring on July 17,2016.My employer does not intend to help me in LMIA.MY employer called AINP office regarding my application process and AINP office told them that my file is not that far away and there are not too many applications in dispatcher category.I am so worried.Please advise me what should i do?Should i wait till July for my nomination or should i find some1 who can provide me LMIA?

I applied in same cat in Feb 2014 and received my AINP certificate in Dec 2015.
Barely, three months were left on my work permit. I hope you get it soon.
