Received my Nomination Certificate today.

This is my timeline:

App sent: July 20, 2014
App received: July 28 2014
File#: September 24 2014
Verification Call: August 23 2015
Nomination Approved: August 26 2015
Stream: SRS Post Grad
NOC: 1411
WP Expire: 2017

Now my friends like Phil89, PNP525, Kuisha, etc who have been waiting since 2014... don't worry. Your time will come. I could almost bet everything I have on it - that is if you haven't received a call from the AINP as yet. I was so depressed and frustrated the last two months, I actually was contemplating withdrawing my application and taking other avenues for the PR, but God Almighty has something else in stored for me. I feel like a hypocrite for saying this, and believe me, I know its hard, but JUST BE PATIENT. Things will work out soon.

I wish you all the best, and I hope we can still connect on the other thread when you get your nomination so we can start sending our documents to the federal government for PR.

It does not depend on the date of application this is what the ainp people told me.

We all know that. But it's not fair towards the other ones who applied first, they should have stopped accepting applications for some noc when they saw they are receiving too many... I think this is what we can expect next., after 27 January 2016

There will be a massive flooding of applications on and post 27 January 2016.I believe AINP might already have a game changer planned to counter that.They might increase or limit intake even further with strict guidelines.I think the elections will play a role in it too.Alberta had requested to increase the AINP cap from federal government but they have turned a deaf ear to Alberta's request so far

I got my nomination under srs but after nomination i got laidoff can i still apply for pr even without employer.i had open work permit until dec 2016.

I applied under 2282 and changed to 2281. Still waiting..

Yeah. Since 2014, not seen a single thread's reply saying anything about this code. Not sure if anyone got nominated under NOC 2282 or 22** under Employer driven, international Graduate category since last year.
