Hey, we have the same NOC 2141 and I've applied at the same time as you March 5th, my work permit will expire September 15th, 2015
It was a long shot anyways to receive a nomination in 6 months. but it was worth a try
Packing my things now and getting ready to leave. I hope you hear some good news. Cheers Everyone

Hey man,

You can still be hopeful. Things can change in a month. Besides, you can remain in the country for another three months under the implied status. Also ,since your application is in the SRS engineering category, you are exempted for maintaining valid work permit throughout the AINP application and assessment process. So your application will still be processed. Never lose hope. Cheers.

Hello everyone I am following this forum from few months and I want to share my timeline.

Applied for AINP on March 20,2014
Received file number in May 2014
Me and my Employer got verification call on July 31,2015
Received AINP nomination email on August 4, 2015 as my work permit was about to expire on August 5, 2015

When did you apply for Ainp? One of my friends who applied in the engineering category got the nominating via email. So do keep tabs on your email inbox. Cheers

Don't lose hope bro, there still one month left. And you may apply to visitor visa and wait here, because it doesn't need valid work permit for SRS Engineer Category.
