No, you cannot use Nomination from Alberta in Express entry sadly. It is mentioned on their website under AINP news as follows :

February 6, 2015

Many Alberta provincial nominees are asking if they can use their Alberta nomination for Express Entry. An AINP certificate of nomination cannot be used for Express Entry. If you have created an Express Entry profile, do not indicate that you are an Alberta Provincial Nominee.

That doesn't surprise me at all. Anything is possible with AINP.

You send a paper based PR application to CIO, sydney NS which i already did.

Time for another endless wait to get the File number.

Did your friend get that or who? unbelievable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is a painful news for those who has been waiting for last 18 months

There's a good article about this type of worker.

http ://ipolitics.ca/2015/03/09/help-wanted-the-job-crisis-in-canadian-agriculture/

If the information in that article is correct then it's not surprising that those workers get priority in processing their AINP. To the best of my knowledge, AINP is for the best benefit of Alberta, not the applicant.

As well, this type of worker has to have an interview with AARD staff prior to sending thier AINP application. i guess they are pretty much already screened so no need for AINP to do another verification. that's probably why their processing time is very short.

I agree with what your said. They always want the best profit for their own.

That's why the Immigrant program came out at the first place and it's the original purpose of the AINP.

Just like their website says, the AINP is an economic immigration program.........

No problem with that. Why do they have to mislead people then by allowing anyone to apply? It's not all black and white.
