it depends on your NOC.

If u have name of Employer on ur Nomination certifcate and if u applied in Employer driven stream then u are only eligible for closed wp with the same employer with whom u got AINP.Fastest way to get a new wp is Flagpole if u still have canadian trv.Documents u need for new wp at border
1.Employer compliance form 5802 plus$230fees paid by employer
2.Nomination Certifcate
3.Ainp wp renew support letter(which u can get if u got nominated)
4.$155 fees

No. WP applications are processed in Alberta. PNP applications are processed initially in Sydney NS.

Good morning everyone,

I have been following this forum for a while now. But registered today to share my timeline and also to ask for some advices.

Applied for AINP: jan 20, 2014.
Request for additional doc: Jun 4, 2015
Received my nomination last friday dated for Jun 4, 2015.
NOC: 6235.
Work permit expiry: August 28, 2015

Please advice me on how to renew my work permit. Initially I had a 3 years post grad work permit which expired last year July. At that point I applied for an extension and got a 1 year Open permit which is expiring in August 2015. If I apply for a closed work permit now, does my employer have to pay for the compliance fee? I work for one of the major banks here and it is quite impossible to have our HR pay for the fee. So, I am worried that I might have to apply without the employers fee paid.

Also, how does the 4 year work limit affect me? I dont have much idea about that and any advice will be greatly appreciated.
