when I applied AINP, the link to NOC code was not updated to 2011 NOC code, so I used the old NOC code.

Should I fax them and let them know my correct NOC code??

I am worried if they would consider my application is incorrect and reject me

AINP USES 2006 NOC CODE, but if you feel NOC 2011 fits your duties better, you could hand writing the new code under the 2006 code.
They will chose whichever is BETTER FOR YOUR APPLICATION.
Even with an inappropriate code with certain duties, they would let you know which code's best suitable for you and update your application.
They answered the question for 100 times.. Or you can update your node after getting your file number. They are not going to process before this step that anyway..

So this is file number , Heard file number takes fter 2-3 months.
So i am bit confused is this a file number or just an acknowledgement . Please guide.

hi everybody

i am here to share my experience with everybody

I applied for AINP on 27th November 2013 under the AWE category- Semi- Skilled- Room Attendant.

My Work permit expired on 16th August 2014 and I applied for a open work permit on 18th July 2014 based on AINP file no. and therefore I am still on implied status. I am still waiting for the following

1. open work permit from CIC
2. AINP Nomination.


Is there anyone else who has done the same? Please share your experiences

Im also thinkin same wat u did. How did u apply online or paper .

It's better if you apply paper application it'll buy u sometime. That's what I did.

Online is more favorable. It has been more faster than paper application.
