Sent Copy to AINP July 3, 2014

Keep the faith guys!!! she has ticket already to go back home because she already received letter from CIC...everybody is so emotional!!!!

but the stream is EDS, or am i wrong?

It's so confusing. I mean of course I'm happy for your friend, I am. But ainp say you have to work till you get the pr on your hand under EDS and your friend got nomination under visitor visa? I don't even know what is true or not, I'd say just go for it anyway, who knows you will get the pr no matter what!

That wasn't my friend, i was just reposting it because I was also confused. i did not know that it was possible to get an EDS nomination if you have an expired work permit and is on visitor's visa. I think before they issue a nomination, they would call you and your employer to confirm if you are still employed. They would also ask for a copy of your work permit and a support letter from the employer. But I dont know. Any thoughts?

What's the date of issue of your friend's nomination letter. There is always a delay between the issue and delivery dates. Maybe it was issued before the wp expired.

I don't know if this has been asked already but can you offer your opinions. So my Brother graduated last year and has been working full time engineering job since July 2013, and applied for the Alberta Nominee sometime in February 2014. He called yesterday and CIC said they have increased processing time to 14 months just to get nominated!! So i have told him, he might as well apply under CEC scheme. But my question is can he do that? will he be penalized or will there be a conflict of interest? a friend said it shouldn't be since one is provincial and the other is federal but want to be sure? Please advise. Thanks

Of course he can apply , the sooner the better ! He can submitt as many applications he wants to in different programs, there is no penalty or conflict of any kind. The friend doesn't have an idea what he is talking about.

They are currently working on Nov application because they received high volume of application. I submitted mine on Nov. 21, 2013 and received my nomination on Sept 25, 2014.

Hello, I dont want to disappoint u but I guess not this yr coz they are almost dont with their limit of certs. They most probably finiah it with Nov applications.

I think it all depends on their mood. they give whoever they like ? lol
