1. Yes you can and should include your son in your application.mumay fort said:Hello everybody! I'm trying to fill up the forms for PR, just in case I get nominated ^_^, but I am confused about 2 things...
1) I am a divorcee and I have a child, he's living with his dad (other country), can I declare him as accompanying and have his papers processed too, even if he's not going to stay with me for good? I was told that if I don't declare him as accompanying I might not be able to bring him here anymore...I did declared him in my application kit for AINP.
2) Do I have to fill up the Separation Declaration for Minors travelling to Canada?
I need help please..I have been debating if I should go to an agency and have them process my papers...if I can find a way I would like to do it myself.
Pawanpnp, Congrats! When is the nomination dated?pawanpnp said:hi friends, i just got my nomination. here is my timeline,
category=International graduate employer driven semi skilled
application received=14th november 2013
file no.=28th december
work permit expired=5th feb
nomination received=19th march 2014.
all the very best to all applicants.
Thank you kindly for your response., I can go on with filling up the forms, but wait, filling up the declaration doesn't necessarily means that my son will stay here with me for good right? I don't want his dad to freak out on me if I ask him to sign the declaration.maplelove said:1. Yes you can and should include your son in your application.
2. Yes since he's a minor, you need to secure the dad's signature too.
Yeah you must declare him in your application even if he is accompanying you or not.mumay fort said:Thank you kindly for your response., I can go on with filling up the forms, but wait, filling up the declaration doesn't necessarily means that my son will stay here with me for good right? One more question...should I tick non-accompanying or accompanying? I'm sorry, I'm not so sure bout this part..
Thanks again
Since it's under AWE, it doesn't affect your eligibility nor if you lost your job, only thing is you have to inform AINP about it, and look or another job. I asked AINP about it before and that's what they told me.walkerj said:Hi guys,
I need some advice/suggestions: I had applied under "SRS - Alberta Work Experience" and yet to receive my nomination. I lost my job yesterday. Is this going to affect my application? Is it better to inform them now or after getting a new job which could take a month or two?
This is my timeline for AINP:
Application Received = Nov. 26, 2013
File Number = Feb. 20, 2014
Nomination = Not yet
Thanks

When is your permit going to expire? You are legally admitted here until your permit expiration.
Since ur under Awe.. I dont think it will affect you.. As long as you got ur nomination your fine.. Go look for another job... You can chnge job as long as you already have nomination under awe.. Promotion is the same.. They dont mind what kind of job you have after nomination.. As long as you can legally stay in canada and dont get out of status.
Thank you! And no, he's just gonna come here once in a while (vacations), as I can't have him permanently until he is able to decide for his self..maplelove said:Yeah you must declare him in your application even if he is accompanying you or not.
Are you going to let your son live with you here, if so then tick accompanying.
Now, if he is accompanying you, you have to let the father sign his consent letter, the form IMM 5604 together with notarization.
All the best.
