It actually depends on the type of nomination u receive it's restricted to ur employer then u have to stay with them else u can switch

the processing time of compulsory and optional trade category has been stall at 7th July over six weeks, anybody know the reason? Is that mean they didn't work on this category?

I got a cal from ainp. I apploed under srs pgwc
Noc 2281
She told me that my job does not fall under 2281 becaise salary of 2281
Is minnimum $18/hr. My salary is $16.66/hr
$35,100 per annum with health and dental benefits.

That's weird cuz ainp oftens didnt check much on salary. Are you sure ur job description is ok?

From where they get this figure 18 ? . Now I think the only option you have is to change the job you have to another one which matches the minimum wage or ask you employer for a raise..I hope you stayed with your old employer and took the IELTS, the wage was not a problem at that time, was it ?

But one of friend working at geek squad best but at $13/hr under noc 2282
Got his nomination this year. Noc 2282 wage req is also $18.
Under Srs category no where is mentioned abiut the minnimum wage req. Only in international graduate category there is a req to meet minnimum wage.
This is job was my dream job, it matches my education skills. I am ccna certifies, A+ certified.

The difference is just 1.8$ but i am getting benefits more than that

This is the problem with AINP, you can not compare yourself with other because each case is different. Hopefully she will understand, otherwise I suggest you do not argue with her a lot just request that she reserve your spot so once you find another job you will be processed immediately and you do not have to wait again.
