So , its approx. two and a half months
I guess EDS& PGW category applicants can expect nomination with in 2 - 4 months
even I heard people getting in 2 months too! But getting PR is still a long journey !

Yes , they are working on Sept.15 2014 which means they have to deal with 2100 applications in the period between Sept.2014 to Sept.2016. If you have less than 24 to 26 months left on your work permit, it is better to try other pnps such as Saskatchwan, Manitoba, BC as they have a Category for international students.Also Yukon and NWT are good options but you need to find a job first. If you have 3 years work permit then go for Ainp.

me as well, applied Sept 10, 2014, they received my file on Sept 16, 2016. but no news yet. Hopefully we are getting it soon!!! Stay positive guys!!!! our wait will b worth.

No not yet, I called them again to check if my file is assigned to an office, they said another 2 weeks.
I am losing hope

Exactly man I am losing hope too . I called them and they told me they received lot of file on September 15 so it will takes them 1 more month to clear those file I hope that ain't true and will get it before the next update .
When did you call them ? And what exactly they told you ?

There is no one has more information than what is written in their website, which that they are processed Sept.2014 applications.If, and only if, things go the same as it is now you will get it before your work permit expires as processing tims is 24-25 months.

Your call will only make sense when they start processing the applications same as the date you applied..for now try to improve your CRS so you can get the ITA through express entry as there are expectations that more points will be given to International students, that to be announced this fall. meanwhile do not call and let them do their jobs
