Qustion about date you came to live in canada!!

I am in the process of finalizing my application .. I just have a quick question :

Is there a difference between the date you became a permanent resident and the date you cam to live in Canada ?

Question 6A: Write the date when you became a permanent resident (landed immigrant).


Question 6B :Write the date when you first came to Canada to live

I became a permanent resident in 2009 but because of other commitments back home I left and came back to live here in 2011

I'm so confused cuz in the residency calculate I had to put 2009 in the tow sections ... is that right ?
