QUORAX!!!At which stage is SELDEC done? Could be after medicals??? Please share!

Quorax and other members : What I don´t understand is that someone who got MR on MARCH 2012 it is supposed that his/her SELDEC stage has been passed and is SELDEC 1 right? If not please explain to us how this works???

That is why I still don´t understand how come a member of this forum bundoora got his case suspended due to OB442 according his CAIPS when he has medicals done in March 20th and it is supposed that his SELDEC 1 had to be previous to this date???? This does not look right according to this statement :

If the officer… and Then…
has not established whether the applicant meets the selection criteria prior to March 29, 2012 •the application is terminated; and
•fees paid to CIC are to be returned to the person who paid them.

has established whether the applicant meets the selection criteria prior to March 29, 2012 the application has not been finalized before June 29, 2012… •processing of the application continues to a final decision; and
•fees paid to CIC will not be returned to the person who paid them.
established whether the applicant meets the selection criteria on or after March 29, 2012 the application has not been finalized before June 29, 2012… •the application is terminated; and
•fees paid to CIC are to be returned to the person who paid them.

•processing continues to visa issuance or refusal; and

Now is the time for them to 'select' whom they want... it doesn't matter if the applicant was eligible & fit. It's become a buyer's mkt, seriously. They've their options 'open' till FINDEC-1 now... which is pretty dangerous for the applicants.
