Dear Members,

TOday i got medicals along with that they have asked for RPRF fee, Travel history form and PCC but they didn't ask our passport.
Now the problem is my wife is 5 months pregnant so, i am confused whether to proceed with medicals or to inform CHC that my wife is pregnant if i inform chc then what is the procedure of getting medicals done for my wife and adding my kid to the application after her/his birth.
Please tell me whether the medical examiner will agreee to do the medicals for my wife at present or not? please suggest me what to do?

One more thing is that why CHC didn't ask for Passports generally Delhi CHC ask pps along with medicals. Did they do verification after medicals is there any possibility of caling for interview after medicals?

Regards
Reddy

Yep...
Its not about Doctor agreeing or not. You should not do X-Rays at this time, inform Visa Office and post pone it till after the Birth..........X-Rays can cause damage to the UnBorn Child, they do use shield etc, BUT, better to be safe than sorry.

Hi,
I was checking the same query with my friend who is a radiologist ,this is the answer i got..
you only need to worry if ur wife is getting x ray of the lower part of the abdomen...but i believe thats not a part of routine medical exam.Usually they have to go for Chest Xray.If you have to go ahead with ur medical exam make sure you mention it to ur doctor/radiographer they can shield the abdominal area which prevent the fetus from getting radiation.Chest x ray uses the least dose of radiation so the scattering effect of radiation will be none or negligible amount. This is as per the guidelines in Europe ...
Thanks
