quitting the job...................!!!

hi all

i am on legal work permit untill next sept 2012.

now my employer is really irritating so i am thinking to quit the job and stay in canada untill my permit expires............!!!

i have allready a status update as '' MEDICAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED''

so can i do it..........!!! even if it is not possible i am ready to go back to india..........!!!

give some sugestion .............!!!!

Hi is your working permit open like PGWP or work permit from your company?

i am a religious worker. and i dont want to work anywhere now untill i receive my PR.

can i stay here till or have to go back?

You can stay here as long as your work permit is not expired; I was working for a company that it was about to close and I asked an immigration officer if I can stay and the answer was that no matter the situation, if my permit was not expired I can stay in Canada.

also i can work as free lancer as our job is mainly public work.....!!

I don't think you should be working as freelancer, if is consider work then you need a work permit....

Hi i had a friend who had a same situation like you. he is a religious worker but he isnt able to work after he left . make sure that you have limitation to work.
