I don't know. You flagpole, talk to the officer, he asks you questions about your job and stuff...
The job was a requirement for receiving permanent residency (through PNP).

They dont ask any such questions and PR process do not halt your life.

If you are a PNP applicant, and your nomination was based on a job offer, you cannot leave your job until you land as a PR. Accepting nomination means that you intend to settle in the province nominated you and to work for the employer which supported your nomination.

Usually officers do not ask any job related questions, but it doesn’t mean they can’t.

Ok... But I don't have to wait for my PR card, do I?

No, PR card has nothing to do with all this staff, it is just a travel document. You become a PR as soon as you get your COPR signed. After that it should be safe to change employer.
