Quit studies for LMIA offer

Hi all,

I’m current studying in Toronto and received an LMIA approved closed work employment offer from Alberta. I need to join immediately, otherwise the offer will not stay open. Would accepting this offer and quitting my studies mid-way negatively affect my study/PR prospects in the future?

So you applied for a closed work permit & it was approved? If not you cannot start immediately.

Then I would say it's hard to say how IRCC will look at your WP application. Time to time we see instances here where they don't like situations where people on study permits try to convert to a work permit fairly quickly and see this as an abuse of the study permit process. But I guess you can try. Worst case you get a refusal.
