Hi everyone,

I just noticed something that I think everyone should be aware of. I received a while ago a communication from CIC asking me to submit more documents. Yesterday, I got my final approval (yay!). However, I noticed that both documents have literally the same name: F0000578778 (I changed the numbers, but you get the idea). When downloading them, my computer automatically added (2) next to the new one, which was very confusing until I opened it. The problem is that it might also just overwrite the first one instead.

I understand now why I had trouble finding certain documents in my hard drive and had to download them again, so please, if you want to avoid headaches and, potentially, losing important documents regarding your application, double check everything you get from CIC and rename them after downloading.

Good luck with your application.

Thanks for the advice and congrats. I am so happy for you.
