Hello guys,

I want to apply for PR, i've used CRS calculator and i could achieve points of 472. Still when i am filling questionnaire for 'eligibility for Express entry' it shows i am not eligible. I am from India.

Please help.
IELTS
Listening-8
Speaking-7.5
Reading-7
Writing-7

I have currently 3 years of work experience
22 months in Financial industry
1 year 2 months in Family owned manufacturing business (presently working also there is a gap of 5 days in between the 2 jobs)

I am currently in my last year of full time masters in commerce, it will end by April 2018. I want to know should i apply for PR now or should i wait for my masters to end.

Also last year i had 3 Canada student visa rejection for the same intake, last rejection was in the month of December 2016, will this be effecting my PR application (i've read many forums where members have said that the two process are completely different). Rejection reason was 'Other reason'.

Please let me know what should i do? should i apply right now with my bachelors score with a CRS score of 447 or should i wait for my masters to end. I am currently 24 and i want to immigrate to British columbia or Ontario as my preferred province.
will appreciate your reply.
Thanks.

Read the below link ...and in that you'll see find noc ...search with your job title and see if there's an noc listed suiting to the work experience you have ...

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp

minimum required work exp is 1 year...so exclude the work exp u have while you were pursuing full time study and recalculate the points on come to Canada tool..

http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp
You need 67 out of 100 which I'm sure with even 1 year you'll get..

state the funds you'll bring to Canada to min $12500
---
you'll require clear work experience letter as per cic requirement and search the forum with the keywords that you may find in this reply to get answers ...
there are step by step process all explained with sticky threads ...
Browse the forum thourghly before coming up with questions ...

Student visa rejection could be because the granting officer wasn't fully convinced your intention was study and to return to India ...when you are applying for PR it won't matter but you'll have to mention details wherever it may be asked..

If you remove ur masters and put only 1 year work experience your CRS is likely to come down to 422 which still is a good score and you can improve ur CRS by around 5-10 points by improving ielts score to CLB10 ...
but first recalculate the eligibility with 1 year and bachelors (or reducing the period of we while you are in full time study) and see if you have 67 ...then check ur CRS score and try inputting L8.5R8S7.5W7.5 and see how much it goes up ...if you are above 400 you hold a very good chance this year itself...and you can proceed to get your eca from wes

Before you include your Master education, make sure that you can claim and ECA for it as a Masters; usually Masters education outside Canada is considered as a 4 year study, unless you are studying from a very high ranking institution. At best you will claim point for 2 or more studies of 3 years or more.

You can't apply with an ongoing degree. So your Masters degree will not be considered for CRS score until you complete it and get an ECA for the same.

This is only true if you are inside Canada. Outside of Canada, you can work full time and go to school full time. Many of us have done this and successfully gained PR. In the US, unless you're born into money or win the lottery, it's practically the only way you can get a masters.

447 *should* be enough to get you an invitation. I would go ahead and get the documentation required (ECA, IELTS, PoF, etc) and enter the pool. You cannot get points for an ongoing program, but working full time and going to school full time will not be a problem unless you are in Canada currently.

I have been managing my work and going to school hand in hand. i wasn't sure about i should add my masters in the PR application, if there's a problem i want to apply with my bachelor's score (CRS score would come down to 432 with 3 years of experience) with masters it is 472 but i am currently enrolled in my masters and it will get over by April/May 2018. Should i wait for my masters or just apply with my bachelors with a CRS score of 432.?

Yes cutoff is near score. Do your bachelor ECA. You might gey ITA. By then you'd have finished your masters degree. But yeah for your initial question dob't discard your work experience, it will be counted
