In gcms notes under "item(s) requested" is it normal to say "police certificates (multiple)" ?

Is the multiple there on everyone's gcms notes?

generally this means more than 1 was requested -- from other countries. if your wife has spent more than 6 months consecutively in another coutnry the PCC is required from that country too

Thanks for the reply. That is what I thought and that's the entire reason I asked. She has never been in any other country besides the USA for more than six consecutive months. She has only come to Canada 3.5 months at a time.

How long did it take to receive them? Did they come electronically or by mail?


I read somewhere you can order certified (takes 120 days) or uncertified (takes less than 2 weeks)

we did ours on a Tuesday and got in the mail the next Monday

They requested two police certificates from my husband: one from Michigan and one from another state (that I can't currently remember). I guess because he had lived in each for a fairly long period. He ordered them online and received them via email the same day.

I am still trying to figure out if I have even been asked for another PCC from somewhere else. If anywhere it would be for Canada. Having a hard time getting through to an agent though and I am at work so it's hard to call!
