Does the sponsor have to be approved to sponsor his spouse first before they request the Schedule A form from the applicant?

They sent my sponsor only one email so far saying that the application has been received. Then a week later they emailed asking for my schedule A.
It's been a month now but haven't heard anything back yet.

I read in a thread that it is a negative impact on them if parents don't know about marriage or they are against you being together

THEY MAY ASK SCHEDULE a BEFORE APPROVING SPONSOR .. ITS NORMAL ..I ALSO GOT MY REQUEST FOR PCC AND SCHEDULE A BEFORE WE GOT SPONSOR APPROVAL ..

with ircc and cic they consider that red flags and you may have an interview to prove your realtonship is genuine I can be wrong
