Hi everyone! hope everyones applications are going well :)

I applied for my husband as outland back in September. My ecas still says application received and it shows this:

1. we received your PR application....
2. medical results recieved

However, shouldn't my application be in process by now? I recently read somewhere that this is the new
"in process" .. is this true?!

I would love a response because I'm starting to get a little worried, as I haven't heard back from the embassy since September.. thanks!

In our case, the medical results were received mid-may, and the application was in process as of the 27th of June. It becomes "in process" once they send your application to your visa office for processing, and you should receive an email from CIC informing you that this has happened (AOR 2).

Have you submitted you police certificates and Schedule A? Our app wasn't being transferred because we never received the request for pcc and schedule A, and only after I called CIC and uploaded those documents did my app turn into "in process". My suggestion is to call CIC, ask them to re-send you the pcc and schedule A request (if you haven't received the request yet), and ask if there is anything else stalling your application.

That is exactly what my ECAS has said since the beginning of March. You can't really trust what is there, or not there I guess. Several people haven't really had any updates in the online resources during the whole process.

PCC was sent with the application, and schedule A is usually requested right after you link your application anyways, as I think the only way to get your medical request is once those have been submitted anyways.

yeah thats what I'm beginning to realize, that you cant really trust ecas cause you never know if they're working on your app without even updating you! many people go from application received straight to decision made
