Quick question - Urgent response needed

I have a CRS of 424, my work permit is valid until July 2016, but it's more likely that my company asks me to travel back. I still don't have an ITA but just in case i resign from my company denying to go back can i lawfully stay in the country until atleast July 2016?

What kind of work permit do you have? open/closed? That makes all the difference.

You can resign and stay in Canada. If your existing work permit is closed you can't work any where else.
