Good evening folks

I am about to apply for Indian PCC at Embassy in US and stuck at the question in the form which says 'Exact date from which the applicant has been residing abroad '

I was in US for 3 years from 2009 to 2012 , then went back and now back again since 2015
So should I say date from 2009 or now 2015 ?

Anyone who was in similar situation and can share their thoughts

Thank you

His residence changed after 2012 right?

police clearance should be from first date you entered country. While in BG check the dates can be verified by IRCC with the local police. In between you can move anywhere is not a problem.

By the by, which form are you referring OP?

https://www.indiacgny.org/pages.php?id=77

The above form doesn't have that question.

I am referring to this form, point 9

I am really confused if it should be date from the first entry in 2009 or first entry in 2015

Thank you for your help

I am pretty sure, you have to enter your date of birth, if you are an indian citizen. Thus, what happened to me when I filled PCC in Toronto. I entered the date I left India. However, I was asked to change the date to my DOB during the document verification. So, put you DOB...

Thank you for your reply but DOB won't solve the purpose, I was not staying abroad when I born but it happened for the 1st time in 2009

Question says 'Exact date from which the applicant has been residing abroad'

So quick. Where was your passport issued? India or US? Where did you notarize your Driver License copy?

You can get docs notarized at UPS store..that's where I got it done
