Hi Guys!

i have just joined in the forum of discussion and would want to get some help on starting a whoel new life in canada in terms of:-

- work
- housing
- expenses
- city best to stay in
- labor laws

we are a couple and have just applied in for the canadian PR 2 days back and hope to get it done within 1 year as oer the new law.
Which are the places where in we will be able to find in our community as in indian people?
Are the people nice and helpful in nature and about racism?

will appreciate if you guys can give in your experience and help to us.

Go for work. Any city is good to stay in if you have a job.

Labor laws vary from province to province so if you find a province that interests you and seems to have a lot of jobs in your field, you can google their labor laws specifically. If there is anything particular about the labor laws that interests you, you can also ask here. Somebody may have an idea. Generally probation time is 3 months, vacation is usually 2 weeks a year to start and sick days are usually not paid.
