Questions related to visitor visa extension

Hi all,

I am going to apply for a visitor visa extension for my mother in next week. My parents came in canada in June 2024 as a visitor. I am applying visitor visa extension for only my mother because i want her to stay here to take care of my wife as my wife is pregnant. My father will return to home country withine 6 months period from the date of arrival.

It would be big help if someone can answer the below questions that i have related to visitor visa extension for my mother:

1) Can i apply for visitor visa extension for 1 year (December 2024 to December 2025) as my wife is pregnenat and her due date is in March 2025? My mother came in June 2024. So, she can stay in Canada till December 2024.
2) My mother is a housewife. So, can she show that my son will fully support me financially? what documents do i need to show for financial support?
3) Do she need to show back home ties? If yes, then which documents she needs to show?
4) Which other supporting douments needs to be submitted along with application?

In addition, i have already took the appoinment to do medical exam for my mother.
