Hello everyone,

I have few questions..

1. I heard that we can carry maximum 2 suit cases of around 28 kg. If I stay in Toronto for few days and then take the another connecting flight for the required destination to other province than I have to custom the 2nd suit case? and have to pay around 200 CAD (Is it true?). If took the connecting flight directly after reaching Toronto then I don't have to custom my second suit case.. If anyone knows about it then please do let me know.

2. My visa is under category of S-1, what does S-1 mean?? Can anyone provide the official link of categories so that I can view all the do's and dont's under the S-1 category

3. In validity option of visa it is mentioned exact 2 years. If somehow my program wont completed in 2 years than can I extend my visa, if yes then at what limit?

4. In my LOA it is stated that it is valid for 6 years, does that means that I can also extend my visa for 6 years. Also multiple number of entries is mentioned in my visa. I know what it means but what I wanted to know is why they didnt wrote single instead of multiple?? any reason or it is the standard..

5. Also can anyone please share the link which mentioned the items that one can carry on plane and other related rules of law and order after reaching Canada.

if u stay in toronto then ur flight is not international and becomes domestic ...u will have to check baggage allowance for ur domestic flight to find out how much they charge for second bag.

S-1 is student visa(SW-1 is student visa with work authorization etc)...for entire list please do a google search

u can extend visa but u have to give them a valid reason to extend visa.

4. In my LOA it is stated that it is valid for 6 years, does that means that I can also extend my visa for 6 years. Also multiple number of entries is mentioned in my visa. LOA gives the max time for u to complete ur course it does not mean u can extend visa u will have to present a valid reson why u didnt complete ur studies. u must have selected multile entry visa when u did ur application . Its good to have multiple entry as then u can leave country and comeback like a vacation.

Yes you can carry maximum 2pcs but it is depended on the airline you are going and also class first class or business class passengers are allowed three. You have to pay for the second one if you stay in Toronto and and got o your destination later. But if you go to your destination direct from home country and all the flights are printed in one ticket then you don't have to pay for the second one.If you go through Air Canada the second luggage will cost 25-60$ according to cheapoair site.

Student Visa. I don't think there is a official page like this. But you can go to each category page and see the description of each one.

3. In validity option of visa it is mentioned exact 2 years. If somehow my program wont completed in 2 years than can I extend my visa, if yes then at what limit?
Yes you can extend it and it can be extended up to the time your course would take to finish. You have to prove that you need extension.I haven't seen any limits anywhere.

4. In my LOA it is stated that it is valid for 6 years, does that means that I can also extend my visa for 6 years. Also multiple number of entries is mentioned in my visa. No, you can't.Because your course is two years and it will be counted on the base from this years semester. All student get multiple entry visa,it is standard as people want to visit home in the breaks.

5. Also can anyone please share the link which mentioned the items that one can carry on plane and other related rules of law and order after reaching Canada.
You can search by the Airlines you are going. Different airlines has different policy.
