Hello,

I want to ask for certificate of selection to apply for Quebec Skilled Worker category.

I would like to know as a Mauritian citizen living in the UK , can i file my application in London itself or does't it have to be with Nairobi like all Mauritians living in Mauritius?

Also, i heard that Mauritians do NOT have to do the French Test - TEF Test D'evaluation de Francais, is this true?

Thanks for your much awaited response

Moh

you will first have to determine your visa office, from http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.html, which is based on your country of residence. then you will apply to that visa office.

as far as french is concerned, if you can provide proof that you have either studied french during your academics or you have worked in french speaking company, then that evidence will suffice. otherwise you have to give french test.

regards

Hello Moh28,
if your country of residence is UK, then you do not need to submit the application elsewhere.

With regards to French:
For those NOT taking the TEF, some sort of document that proves your language skills is required. It could be your French grades from primary school etc. I myself had 3 years of French in primary school and 2 years of French in High School. I submitted my diplomas wherein my French grades can be seen.

not even AOR???

Hi Moh,

If you residing for more than one year in England then you can apply from over there itself.
No need to take any exams.

Regards and best of luck

Salut Moh,

Bonne chance.

Bonjour a tous

je suis d'accord avec iceberg et je pense aussi que tu peux appliquer aux UK si tu habitais la bas depuis 1 an..

cordialment
