Remove his experience and add it in personal history. No issues doing that.
Thank you for your reply. I am concerned that if I skip the work experience part of spouse it may come under providing false information as he has work experience of around 7 years in different companies. Why CIC is asking for experience letters even if they can filter the records easily for Canadian work experience and non-Canadian work experience? This is my real concern otherwise if we are not claiming points for anything we can skip that part but what if they consider it that we want to hide this information from them.

You are over complicating this thing. You are putting it in personal history, and not hiding it from them. Plenty of people have done and this and got PRs without any issues. Please search this forum and see. There is no functionality in express entry to smartly figure out the country and generate check list like you say.

I'm not sure if you have seen your invitation letter. In that, they will mention the things for which points were awarded. Officer will only cross check that for eligibility. They will see your spouse's personal history to understand what he was doing in those years.
