Questions on Academic records request form

Hi All,
I have a question on academic records request form.

I understand below Certificates are required to Submit to ECA (WES)

• Degree Certificate / Convocation Certificate
• Consolidated Mark sheet
• Semester-wise Mark sheets
• HSC
• SSLC

Also, I got my below transcripts for my B.Sc & M.Sc from my University (Madurai Kamaraj University) with Attestation and Seal in envelope
to apply ECA (WES )

• Degree Certificate
• Consolidated Mark sheet
• Semester-wise Mark sheets

My Question is

• Is Academic records request form mandatory to submit from Madurai Kamaraj University (or) ANY UNIVERSITY along with ALL ABOVE MENTIONED CERTIFICATES to ECA?

You don't need to send the Academic Request Form to WES. What you have received from your University in sealed envelopes is good enough.

You don't need to send HSC and SSLC as well because you are getting your BSc and MSc assessed. Just send out those two envelopes enclosed in a larger envelope to WES Canada, remember to mark your WES reference number on the envelope.

One of my friend is also applying for Canada Visa.

He completed B.E (Electrical Engg) in Anna university.
He received below Transcript from

• Consolidated Mark sheet
• Degree Certification
• Letter regarding notification for non-issuance of semester wise mark sheet

Normally Anna university does not provide Semester-wise attested mark sheet in separate sealed envelope. Instead of this, they provide letter for non-issuance of semester wise mark sheet with Controller of Examination attestation

In this case, do we need academic records request form (WES) from Anna University ?

Academic Request Form is to be used by you to request forms from your University. You can choose to use it or not depending on how your University functions. You do not need to send it to WES under any circumstances.

• Do we need ECA report ( from WES) for both Primary Applicant & Dependent
• or
• Is it enough to apply only for Primary Applicant?

Questions on WES Reference Number

Hi Experts,
I have a question on WES.

I have registered WES for ECA and I got WES reference number also.

My question is

• 1. Do I need to get transcript from university with printed WES reference number or mentioned somewhere in scripts by university?
• OR
• 2. Is it enough that applicant can mark WES reference number in all envelope cover of the transcripts?

No.

• 2. Is it enough that applicant can mark WES reference number in all envelope cover of the transcripts?

Yes. Not on all covers. Only on the outermost envelope which encloses the sealed envelope containing your transcripts. Do not attempt to write anything on the sealed envelope received from your University.

Typically 4-6 weeks. Can be earlier depending on their workload.

Not necessary. Quoting your reference number on the outside of the envelope would suffice.

[Step #1]:-
Take the below certificates xerox legible copies (take 4 copies for safer side, but 2 copies are enough) of your programs (B.Sc /M.Sc / MBA etc.) which you have completed in Madurai Kamaraj University. Please note that you don't find any good xerox shop near by university.

1. Semester-wise Marksheet
2. Degree certificate
3. Consolidated Marksheet

Download the transcript form in online from MKU Website by search in google (with words "madurai kamaraj university transcript")
(Download 3 copies for safer side)

[Step #3]:-
Visit Madurai Kamaraj Univesity, Madurai (Main) (at Nagamalai pudhukottai) directly. Go to "Controller of Examination" section. Office staff will assess cost for your certificates

[Step #4]:-
You have to take Demand Draft (DD) in SBI Bank (available near by university) for the cost that have assessed. Ensure you need to take DD before 3:30 PM as bank closes at the same time. Take a copy of DD
(OR)
You can take DD in online also in SBI website

[Step #5]:-
Identify Center Code (each college has separate center code) of your college which requires to fill in the transcript application form

[Step #6]:-
Fill the transcript application form

[Step #7]:-
Attach Xerox copy of your certificates with DD in transcript application form

[Step #8]:-
Submit to the same office staff

[Step #9]:-
You will get transcript in 2 weeks and you need to collect it from the same section
