Hi Guys!
I would like to share with you some of the questions of IDP IELTS General test for which I appeared recently.

WRITING:
* Write a letter to your friend about the recent job opportunity available with your employer. Describing the role, why he/she should apply and how to apply
* Some people believe that money is the only factor for happiness but some believe that money is not the only factor to achieve happiness. Explain your views.
SPEAKING:
* Your name, what do you do, Do you enjoy the course you are studying?
* Are you happy with so many public holidays in our country?
* What is your favourite public holiday
* LONG SPEECH: Explain any customer service you received which you really appreciate
* Conversation about how the customer services in India are different from that of _____(I spoke about customer service in the ____)
* Why customer service in India is not upto the mark?
* Is it necessary for the company to address the complains of the customers?
* What companies can do to deliver better customer services?
* How a company can address the issues of faulty products?
* What companies should do to sell the products in different countries?
I was asked so many questions on varied topics. I do not think I addressed them to my optimum ability as the time allocated for each question was too short. Most of the time the examiner had to stop me. He was a friendly person but I do not think I will get good scores.
Nothing is more important but practice. Practice for the L, R and W. In case of speaking test you never know what they are going to ask but you can always be prepared about some general topics related to you like your favourite festival, holiday, sport, leader, subject, etc.
Good Luck guys! My fingers are crossed! :'(
