Questions about the biometrics

On my application file, it tells me "we do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes"

However, I also have received a request to do the biometrics and I paid for my fees.

The thing is, they are not giving me the receipt? or the form that I can take it to a service Canada to actually give my fingerprints for more than 2 months.

What is happening with my application?

If someone could help, it would be thankful.

The request should be what is needed at the VFS. Take that and get it done.

Worst case - just pay it and get it refunded later.

The message about 'we do not need' is consistently unrelated to what is actually happening.
