well that sucks. how long can she remain in canada as a tourist? cant they consider her to stay in canada until she gets approved as im sponsoring her anyways?

As I said in my previous post, yes, she can extend her stay as a visitor in Canada. The issue is getting the TRV to actually come to Canada..

The odds of a visa are very slim. Not impossible but you will have to do a lot of research and present a very strong application for a visitor visa.

As I said in my previous post, yes, she can extend her stay as a visitor in Canada. The issue is getting the TRV to actually come to Canada..

In order to be approved for a TRV to Canada, a person must show that they have stronger ties to their home country than they do to Canada and therefore won't overstay. When a person has a Canadian citizen or PR spouse living in Canada, CIC generally considers that to be a stronger tie than any a person can show for their home country. This makes the person an overstay risk.
