Questions about (IMM 1344) Application to Sponsor

IT states that my co-signer must be my spouse, but when i am trying to fill out co-signer information im being given questions that assume my co-signer is canadian. My wife lives in the US and we are trying to fill the forum out properly, is this one of those circumstances i put N/A? or something else

you don't have a co-signer. imagine you'd sponsor a child and you and your spouse are in living in Canada - you'd have a co-signer (her).

but in this case it's no co-signer. don't remember what i did in my app, but i think i left it blank.

yes. on the last page, there are 3 places to sign: one for you, one for the co-signer (leave it blank) and one for your wife - this one she needs to sign.

hrm ok. we over looked that before she returned to the US. suppose we will just have to mail the application to her for the signature.

You're welcome it's very important to sign in all the provided spaces (CIC may return your whole app if not - it would cause delays eitherway). additionally, make sure to have the most recent updated forms. good luck!
