I plan to stay in Vancouver.
I'm an international student from Taiwan living in Vancouver for 5 years now and trying to filling out the generic form. Some areas I don't know how to answer. Please kindly help me out.

In Generic Form IMM0008ENU_2D

Q4 Immigration Office requested for processing this application
I just put "Hong Kong" or "CIO"?


Q7 a) Have you received your CSQ?
I lived in Montreal from 2002-2006, but I didn't have any working experience there. Can I just leave it blank?

can I just copy passport information in this area?

As you are already in Canada, you can use CPP-O as the processing office. CIO is where you sent the application forms to but the processing will be done at Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa.

You need CSQ only if you intend to stay in Quebec. So not required in your case as you intend to stay in Vancouver.

National Identity Document
can I just copy passport information in this area?

A National Id document is not mandatory. If Taiwan has no separate national id other than passport, just say 'No' to the question that asks whether you have a national id.

So I just type CPP-O in this section, and later I send this CEC application package to CIO. Is that right??

Yes, you should enter CPP-O as the visa office for Q4. Then you mail your complete application package to CIO where they do some basic checks for completion and then pass it to CPP-O for processing.
