Hi Guys:

For Question 13

I am listing all my residence visas(UAE and Qatar) I held based on the issue and expiry dates on the visas. For temporary visitor visas i am using the actual dates I travelled. It doesn't make logical sense to list dates on the visitor visas because some of them only have an issue date and it states "valid for 30 days" so that date different from the dates I actually travelled.

Do you think IRCC will wonder why I didn't list the "travel dates" for my residence visa travels? I did include those since I turned 18 on my PR app. The question is asking for status dates and that is the best convention I can come up with. Please help!

I have added this LOE:

"Please note that for Residence visa status I have indicated the obtained/effective date and end date listed on the actual visa document and for temporary visitor visas I have listed the dates I actually travelled to the country for obtained/effective date and end date"

Buddy, for Q13 you don't need to mention visitor visas. At least, you didn't need to mention when I applied. The help on the PDF is very clear about it -

Hey thank you so much for taking the time to help know. Unfortunately the most recent citizenship application form has been updated and now includes a drop down box for “visitor” status and the help box asks to mention visitor status as well. As such I am trying to list all my visitor statuses as accurately as I can but it is proving to be difficult as I have travelled a lot. I used my travel history from my PR app to list visitor status since I was 18 and for travels prior to that I am including an LOE saying I was a minor and have tried my best to list all visitor statuses but it will be an approximation because it was so long ago and I was a minor. Furthermore I’m using “dates of travel” to indicate visitor status as the visit visa dates are impossible to list and wouldn’t correspond because some visit visas only list an issue date and state that visa is valid for 30 days from date of entry. For residence visas I have used the dates printed on the visa documents to indicate issue date/effective date and end date. I have made an LOE to explain to the visa officer the method I am using to list all the statuses.

I hope they don’t mix it up with travel history or I don’t end up inadvertently misrepresenting myself over this, which is worrying me.

If that is the case, then a letter of explanation should suffice. I'm sure they'd have encountered these situations even before your application.
I think you're over-worrying about it.
As long as it is accurate for the last few years nobody is going to hold you accountable for getting dates wrong when you were a kid.
