I am preparing all the necessary paperwork to file my application, but there's one item that I'm not sure how to fulfill.

What document (s) can I provide to satisfy the following:
"If the children will not accompany you to Canada, proof that you have fulfilled any obligation stated in custody agreements"

Any comment would be appreciated.

Are you planning not to take kids with you?

It's a long history that is not part of this forum, I'm divorced and won't take my kids with me...

Do you have any papers from court that kid/s is not in your custody or kid/s is in custody of whom! who is the guardian of kid/s. if you have any proof by court then you can send copy to your local CHC. even you can go to court to get custody copy for kid/s guardians.
look if court decided that kid/s gurdian is not you then court already gave you proof of decision.

Thank you OMM. The custody is with my ex-wife, and I have papers from the court that state that, it happened like 15 years ago, so I wasn't sure if I need to provide any updated document on this.

yes you need to show that your kid/s are not under your guardians means they are not dependents of yours more. that clear the kid/s you will not file as your dependents. this is the I know about dependents if not under your guardians or if not live with you or if you are not take care by order of court.
